“First flavor is blueberry lemonade which is our original, we have strawberry which is my personal favorite, then we have cocoa-loco which is coconut with a little bit of chocolate and tastes like Almond Joy without the nuts, and then we have chocolate covered strawberry with a little bit of greek yogurt.
So we went from blackberries to 3,000 plus blueberry bushes. It’s go big or go home, right?
It’s open to you-pick and we-pick. We love for people to come out here and bring their kids. Some people even bring their dogs! We’ve had them as young as 2 to 90 year old women out there picking.
So then I get an order for 1,000. I thought sure he meant 100. But no, they meant 1,000…”
Blueberry Treat (bonus recipe)
Wash and drain the fresh blueberries. Cut banana into small cubes or very thin slices. Chop walnuts and remove the pieces from the dusty part. You will not be using the dusty parts. Whip the cream and blend in the blueberries, banana and walnut pieces. You may add 1/2 cup fresh raspberries to the mixture for variation.
Cut angel food cake into slices about 3 inches thick. When ready to serve, spread the mixture about 1 inch thick on the slices of cake. Sprinkle shredded coconut on top to taste.
Keep mixture chilled for a short time, if necessary, but do not put on cake in advance or the cake may become soggy.Share
